Telling Regina’s story through its historic places

November 9, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

- Free

The historic places we value helped shape our community and tell Regina’s story. The Heritage Conservation Program is the tool used to document our story and manage historic places. It aligns with the policies and vision of Design Regina: The Official Community Plan and the Regina Cultural Plan to identify and conserve historic places.

The City of Regina is reviewing the cultural, economic and historical drivers that shaped our community. These important themes in our history will assist in identifying places that matter.

We want to hear from you. You are invited to learn about a proposed theme-based approach for future evaluation of potential historic places and the themes identified to assess the significance of historic places at a come-and-go open house:

Representatives from the City of Regina will be on hand to answer questions and you will have the opportunity to comment on the themes as well as share your thoughts on the places that matter to you.
