Buffalo Child Stone Storytelling

All Nations Hope Network in collaboration with Sâkêwêwak Storytellers Festival celebrate Indigenous Storytelling month at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. Join us for the telling of Mistassinì, the story of Buffalo Child, and public display of a piece of Mistassinì (Buffalo Child Stone as it was known by the Cree) sacred rock. Featuring Barry Ahenakew, Nehiyaw (Cree) âtayôhkew (master knowledge teacher) from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Tea and bannock to follow at 8:30 pm.
