Family Tree 101: Jump-Starting Your Family Heritage Journey

Join us at Government House for interactive presentations and workshops to get you started with building your family tree!

With our partners at the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society (Regina Branch), the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan, Regina Public Library, and Government House, this event offers something for everyone, of all ages!

  • Heritage Regina will have information about heritage building research and our Cultural Trailways;
  • The Saskatchewan Genealogical Society (Regina Branch) will have kid’s activities, information about interviewing grandparents from a heritage perspective, research resources and ‘getting started’ information;
  • The Provincial Archives will bring their online catalogue and demonstrate how to search the Archives’ extensive catalogue;
  • Regina Public Library will discuss their online resources, and have some relevant books and guides; and,
  • The Government House museum will be open to the public.

This event is free to the public!
