DESCRIPTION:Since 1991\, Victorian teas are a long-held tradition at Government House. Hosted by the Government House Historical Society in the Henry Newlands Ballroom\, they offer a unique setting for this time-honoured tradition. For tea dates and to make reservations\, please visit the Government House Historical Society. DESCRIPTION:100 years ago\, the world was at war. As the guns were silenced and the men retuned home\, they brought with them a disease unlike any other. Grown and matured in the trenches of Europe\, The Spanish Influenza became humanity’s deadliest disease\, killing between 25 – 100 million people worldwide. In October of 1918 the flu arrived in Regina\, killing hundreds and infecting thousands. \nThis presentation explores the origins of the Spanish Flu\, what happened in the fall of 1918 in Regina and its legacy. \nPresented by Kenton de Jong\, founder of the Regina Spanish Influenza Memorial. \nIntermission refreshments provided.

DESCRIPTION:Meet Kenton de Jong at the cemetery entrance at 6:00pm. This tour visits the graves of Regina’s politicians\, police officers and soliders\, along with victims of the Regina Cyclone\, Regina Riot and Spanish Influenza. We will be concluding the tour in the Beth Jacob’s Jewish Cemetery\, so we ask visitors to bring a scarf or head covering. \nThis tour will be occurring June 29\, July 27\, August 31 and September 28\, 2018. \nAll Heritage Regina walks begin at 6 p.m. and last approximately two hours. The tours are free\, with a suggested donation of $10.

DESCRIPTION:PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING: \nSomeone or something has moved six of Bethany’s favourite dolls from her collection. As a result\, the spirits of the Carthien house are wreaking havoc and it is no longer safe to continue investigations. The power refuses to work and the spirits are wandering the house searching for someone to torment. Are you and your group of paranormal investigators up to the task of searching the entire Carthien house for Bethany’s dolls? \nImportant Information: \n• Bookings are 15 minutes long and the cost is $15 (taxes included) per person.\n• Maximum group size is 6 people (no exceptions).\n• Due to the limited time the event is available\, BOOKINGS OF LESS THAN FOUR WILL NOT BE PRIVATE. If you want to ensure no one else joins your group\, you will need to book out at least four spots.\n• Your booking will start at the time you booked\, so please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to sign waivers.\n• You are able to leave at any point during your experience\, but there will be no refunds. \nRules:\n• There is absolutely no running allowed while in the house.\n• Intoxication of any kind will not be allowed.\n• Any children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.\n• The actors may touch you (unintentionally)\, but you are not allowed to touch an actor unless prompted.\n• You will be required to climb stairs during the experience\, but no scares will occur near the top or bottom of the stairs.\n• Nothing will require force of any kind. Breaking items will result in your group being removed immediately.\n• Only specific locks will need to be solved for this experience\, if you find any along the way\, please leave them be unless directed otherwise.\n• Verbal and physical abuse will not be tolerated.\n• There may be strobe lights present.\n• Any areas marked with “CAUTION” tape are off limits. Well\, this contest is for you. This is our 6th year hosting the very popular contest and it is open to all who would like to partake.
