We hope you will join us to learn about the important contributions historic places are making in Saskatchewan communities. Please share this invitation with colleagues and friends who may have an interest. \nThe webinars will be presented on the following days from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST. \nTuesday March 25\, 2024 \nThe Grand Hotel\, Town of Shaunavon \nLearn how a new owner is giving new life to an historic Shaunavon hotel that had sat vacant for over four decades. \n  \nThe Bethany Social Hall\, Village of Hazlet \nA small rural community has creatively transformed an unused historic church into a valuable community event space. \n–  \nWednesday March 26\, 2025 \nArchaeological Investigations in the Wakamow Valley\, Moose Jaw \nAn exciting archaeological project is producing new insights into the lives of First Nations people in Saskatchewan in the centuries before European settlers arrived. Hear about the project from the lead archaeologist. \n– \nThursday March 27\, 2025 \nJohn Nugent Studio – Provincial Heritage Property \nLearn more about prominent Canadian sculptor John Nugent and the well-known Saskatchewan architect\, Clifford Weins who designed this one-of-a-kind studio. \n– \nMore information about the presentations is available on the Ministry of Parks\, Culture and Sport Webinar Webpage. \nRegistration is free\, but pre-registration is required.
