Stop by and see what your family farm looked like back then! \nThe displays will be at the Southland Mall (between Quark’s Shoes and the Telus Store) during the mall’s regular hours\, and at Canada’s Farm Show from March 18-20\, all day. \n**If you cannot make these show dates\, you can visit their website and fill out the farm search form.

This event has been revamped and updated based on feedback from our event last year\, and will feature presentations from guest speakers and resources on how to get started with researching your family tree.\n\n\n\nFamily Tree 101 is a partnership between Heritage Regina and Government House – Saskatchewan\, Regina Public Library\, the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan and the Regina Chapter of the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a concert celebrating fierce women in music for International Women’s Day. Four Sask artists from a mix of musical styles including folk/singer-songwriter\, R&B\, soul and pop. This is a benefit concert with proceeds going to the Regina and Area Sexual Assault Centre.\n\nPresented by SaskMusic. This concert series is made possible thanks to support from FACTOR Canada and Creative Saskatchewan.\n\nAll ages. $22 inclusive of fees and taxes.Doors 7:30pm\, show 8pm.\n\n—\n\nVictory Howard (Regina) is a talented new artist\, releasing her first single in December 2024 with new music forthcoming this year. Her style is “very folk\, singer/songwriter”\, inspired by artists such as Ben Howard\, Andy Shauf\, Daughter\, Mon Rovia\, and Gregory Alan Isakov.\n\nTubbman Junction (Vanscoy SK) is a rich stew by the fire\, or a cool drink on a warm summer day. Local & homegrown\, natural & organic\, wholesome\, hearty\, desirable\, delicious\, stick to your ribs kind of goodness. Join Ma Nettle and Uncle Fudd on a harmonious journey through life on the land with original classics and old alt country folk roots favourites. The duo is known for digging into your deep feelings like digging into the dusty old trunk where songs have been stored for a decade\, bringing tears on the heels of smiles and healing hearts with a soul connection that can only be described as electric\, acoustically. The strong vocal stylings of Ma Nettle have been likened to Bonnie Raitt and Sarah MacLaughlin\, while Uncle Fudd brings his Billy Strings inspired\, Sam Bush-style mandolin picking and iconic double bass slapping inspired by Lee Rocker\, Roy Husky Jr and Willie Dixon.\n\nLagos-born\, Saskatoon-based singer/songwriter MeenahMo is a rising artist in the contemporary music scene\, celebrated for her unique fusion of genres that includes R&B\, soul\, pop\, and hip-hop. With a passion for storytelling\, she connects with listeners on an emotional level\, creating music that resonates deeply. In 2018\, MeenahMo started her music career by turning her love for poetry into songwriting\, which led her to release her first single\, Love On Drugs\, in 2020\, She has since released her debut EP\, TOXIC\, in April 2024\, which was followed by another pure RnB track called “Breathe”.
