SUMMARY:Struggle without Rest: The Spanish Flu in Canada
DESCRIPTION:In the summer of 1918 the Spanish Influenza emerged from the battlefields of Europe. Where this strange disease came from was unknown\, as was how to treat it. By fall it arrived in Canada and in October\, 1918\, it arrived in Saskatchewan. By 1920 it took the lives of over 100 million people.\n\n\n \n\n\nThis exhibit shows the stories of the Spanish Flu\, as well as two lectures about the Spanish Flu in Regina on March 22 and 27.\n\nThe exhibit is hosted by Defining Moments Canada\, and the space is provided by the Queen City Collective.
