An architectural research award has been named in honour of the late Ross Herrington, who was a member of Heritage Regina’s research committee. Ross’s wife, Dale Herrington, accepted the first-ever Ross Herrington Award for Exceptional Historic Construction Research on his behalf, at the annual Lieutenant-Governor’s Architectural Awards held May 31 at Government House.

Ross was an invaluable member of the Heritage Regina research committee, working alongside Marg Hryniuk and Frank Korvemaker. He passed away in October 2015.
